We Use Cookies

Helping kids stay safe online, one smart choice at a time

We Use Cookies is an after-school digital safety program for elementary students that uses baking and cookie metaphors to explain how the internet works and how to stay safe online. Across eight engaging sessions, students learn about privacy, trust, passwords, and asking for help in ways that feel approachable, empowering, and age-appropriate.

This isn’t about fear.
It’s about understanding.

What Is We Use Cookies?

We Use Cookies introduces cybersecurity and digital citizenship concepts using familiar, hands-on experiences. By comparing online data and tracking to real cookies and recipes, students learn what information is safe to share, what should stay private, and how to make smart decisions online.

The program avoids scare tactics and instead focuses on clarity, confidence, and communication, helping kids understand that they are never in trouble for asking questions or speaking up.

Designed for elementary-aged students (K–5)

Small group friendly (10–20 students)

Why Use Cookies?
