Cookies Over Conflict
Where kindness rises and differences are celebrated
Cookies Over Conflict is an after-school baking program for elementary students that uses cookie-making as a tool to teach empathy, inclusion, and anti-bullying skills. Across eight engaging sessions, children learn how to work together, respect differences, communicate kindly, and resolve conflict in positive, meaningful ways.
This isn’t just about baking cookies.
It’s about building a kinder community.
What Is Cookies Over Conflict?
Cookies Over Conflict blends hands-on baking with social-emotional learning to help children understand and accept differences, manage disagreements, and recognize their role in preventing bullying. Each session pairs a practical baking skill with a social skill focused on empathy, respect, and cooperation.
By working side by side in the kitchen, students experience how shared goals, communication, and kindness make everything better.
